Rooms and Villas

All our rooms and villas come with the following features: Satellite television & DVD player, Broadband internet access, Electronic safe, Direct dial telephone with voice mail, Personal bar, Butler service, 24 Hours room service.

All the villas and pavilions have spacious bedrooms and stunning marble sunken garden baths. The air conditioned bathroom is set in a private walled garden and appointed with a double vanity counter, separate shower and walk-in closet. All guest accommodation is in thatch-roofed buildings of local materials, at ground level and air-conditioned. Private garden walls of pink-tinged local limestone ensure total privacy.

Every villa has a separate bedroom, bathroom, courtyard with rock pond, raised dining pavilion and terrace with either garden or ocean views. Interior decoration throughout is clean-lined and harmonious with generous use of teak, richly woven carpets and Indonesian artefacts for character.

All Luxury Pavilions have large bedrooms with thatched roofs and unique four poster dark teak beds. The pavilions also feature an 18 square meter shaded terrace which is ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation.

Spread over 375 square meters, the Two-bedroom Villa with pool offers all the features of a Luxury Villa and more. It offers spectacular views of the ocean and has its own sparkling swimming pool set in a palatial courtyard. This villa has two separate bedrooms, a bathroom, and a courtyard.

The Royal Villa takes all the features of a Luxury Villa combined with a large private swimming pool, a separate sitting room, a kitchen and a guest shower. It is set in a palatial courtyard.

Dining

With wonderful settings our restaurants offer the very best in Asian and Continental cuisine. Whilst The Tokek Bar is the perfect place for watching the sunset.

Lumbung restaurant occupies an open-sided traditionally thatched pavilion with breathtakingly beautiful views across a reflection pool fringed with palms to the ocean's horizon. A variety of Asian and Continental fine cuisine is offered here. An enchanting choice for a romantic dinner, though it may be hard to take your eyes off the view.

The Sunbird Café, a shady terrace café, overlooks the sea and is perfect for a beachside breakfast or light a la carte lunch. The café offers a choice of Asian and Continental dishes with seafood specialities in the evening. From here you can gaze across the reflection pool to the Gili Islands.

On selected evenings, themed Indonesian buffets are accompanied by traditional ‘Sasak' dance performances in The Amphitheatre. An evening of culture for those who cannot bear to leave the resort.

Near the Sunbird café, Tokek Bar serves up dreamy tropical cocktails for a mellow evening's gazing into a perfect sunset.

Spa and Fitness

The Beach Club is open to all guests and can be found at the end of a picturesque jetty off Medana beach. Here guests will be able to try out a number of water sports, with expert tuition if required. Snorkelling, PADI Scuba Diving, Windsurfing and private picnic boat rides are all available at the Club. A short boat ride away are the fascinating and beautiful coral gardens of the Gili Islands with a dazzling array of tropical fish.

There is a golf course across the bay at Kosaido (10 minutes by car). The resort has a tennis court for guests.
